Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs) offer providers a multitude of benefits, including increased revenues, improved patient health, and by extension, improved reputation. A 2018 study in the journal Health Affairs found that less than 20% of all eligible Medicare patients received AWVs, with more than half of primary care practices offering no AWVs to their Medicare patients.
