The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released the 2026 Proposed Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule. In this video, we'll explore some key highlights for how this could affect the care management programs that you provide at your practice.

We'll also explore exciting updates to the Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program, including the proposal of a new code that would allow practitioners to bill for at least two days of readings.  This new code (TBD) would allow you to capture anywhere between 2-15 days of readings.

A similar structure of coding has also been proposed for the Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) program, where if at least ten minutes are spent with the patient per month, practitioners would be able to bill for the RTM minutes code.  This new code (TBD) would allow you to capture anywhere between 10-19 minutes of care.

With the release of these proposals on July 14th, there is a sixty day comment period.  We encourage you to submit your comments on the Physician Fee Schedule before the September 12th, 2025 deadline!

What you'll learn in this video:

  • New Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) code
