Misti Guenther, 2-G's Founder and President, saw firsthand critical gaps in healthcare access through her background in nursing and home healthcare. With her husband, Ben, they founded 2-G to offer care management services in her community. "I wanted to do this because I wanted to do it the way healthcare should be; with heart," says Misti.
2-G's mission is to close the healthcare divide by delivering consistent, compassionate care and ensuring continuity for diverse patient populations across underserved areas.
2-G identified the need to manage complex chronic conditions. This was true across geographically dispersed and underserved patient populations.

“ThoroughCare and Athena do a great job of integrating with each other, " Haley Jacobs, a Clinical Lead at 2-G, says. "It saves so much time. Instead of having to manually enter data, you can click a button and they sync."
2-G utilizes Tenovi remote monitoring devices through a direct integration with ThoroughCare to closely monitor patient vitals.
"It is super easy to order the device," Yolanda says, "and the fact that we can do it directly through ThoroughCare, excellent!"
2-G streamlined assessments and made Annual Wellness Visits more effective and efficient with ThoroughCare.
Documenting patient health history, behaviors, lifestyles, and medications using ThoroughCare's built in tools allowed 2-G's care managers to generate more care options for patients.
Utilizing ThoroughCare's integration with WebMD Ignite, 2-G is able to email patients evidence-based articles and videos to educate them about their conditions.
"The health eduction materials are created in such a way that patients understand. It gives us also broad topics to talk about and reiterate with patients," Yolanda says.
"ThoroughCare can't be successful if we're not successful. We can't be successful if ThoroughCare's not successful," Ben says. "So rather than a standard vendor/client relationship, it's a partnership and we're working together."
